b @ One Loudoun

OK...I finally stopped over at b at One Loudoun this past weekend.  Not sure if it is called b or Plan b...sort of confusing and I think the management needs to straighten this out as I had a hard time finding reviews on the restaurant because of the naming convention.

With that out of the way, I stopped over at b on Saturday evening with my wife.  I called ahead but they did not take reservations and it was first come first serve.  We were put on a list and the wait was roughly 1 hour.  We decided to eat and have a nice time in the bar area.

I would recommend anyone going as I will do this going forward - I will stay in the bar area and not in the restaurant area.  The restaurant seating was odd with a table right at the front door...just not a "cozy" atmosphere.

So my wife and I decided to sit at the bar seating to enjoy our night.  I started off with an "Old Fashioned" cocktail and I have to say that it was quiet nice!  I've never had one before...I usually drink bourbon straight up.  The Old Fashioned was so good...I think I had 3 more throughout the night.

The food?  Well, I had the basic bacon cheeseburger and I have to say that it was awesome!  The burger was a large size and cooked well - all around a great burger.  Additionally, I had the kettle chips with the burger and those were great also.

I thought the cocktails and the food were really good.  The downside was the dining seating and the folks waiting to be seating hovering over our bar seating area...

The good news...I think I will be back, I now know the lay of the land at b @ One Loudoun so I will be back over there sampling some burgers, beer, and borboun!
